If you've been injured at work, you have the right to:

  • File a Worker's Compensation claim for your injury or occupational disease.
  • Seek medication treatment by a doctor
  • Return to work when your physician has approved your release
  • Receive disability pay if you are partially or totally disabled
  • Appeal a denial
  • Be represented by an attorney throughout the process

If an employer is requesting that you use your own health insurance for your medical expenses, you also have a right to refuse these requests.

If your employer is pressuring you to not file, you have a right to refuse this request as well. The law prohibits employer retaliation or harassment for filing a workers' compensation claim.

Learn More by Calling Rodich Law Today

We recommend that you keep all letters and notices regarding your claim. Follow the instructions of your physician closely, make all medical appointments, receive treatment, and follow through with all requests for information.

There are important deadlines to file and appeal a claim, so keep this in mind. If at any point you need guidance, we are always here for you.
